The book starts with the usual topics of domains, setting up WordPress, and the like; and then moves on to filling that blog with content using the traditional methods, including outsourcing and private label rights.
With that out of the way, the author gets into the specifics of how to monetize your blog through affiliate offers primarily. The monetization section is quite extensive in comparison to the ratios seen in other books. The final two sections in the book cover the typical traffic and web 2.0 topics areas.
WordPress Goldmine is a book on making money online, and the approach it takes to make money online is by using blogs. So if you are looking to make money online by blogging, then this book is a good match for you. But if you are looking for a book on blogging, if you are looking to become a professional blogger, then you should consider a different system.
My Concern: -- Searching for objective information in the internet about Mark Thompsons WordPress Goldmine is really difficult. Literally there are hundreds of results for so called honest reviews which are little more than exact copies (same content, same text) of its sales pages.
The WordPress Goldmine Course Contains: the 117-page WordPress Goldmine e-book, a Members-Only Forum, WordPress Secure Pro, 17 companion videos, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for WordPress videos.
Sales Claims True? -- Yes: This is an excellent book on learning how to use blogs to make money online through Affiliate Marketing programs. As I stated earlier it is hype-free.
Ease of Use: -- Good: Like all the other blogging books I have reviewed, the user still has to learn some technical skills to implement what is being taught in the book.
Customer Support: -- Excellent: E-mail support plus the Members-Only Forum gives you all the help you need.
Value for Money: -- $67: Good -- His bonuses actually add value to the package -- which is a rare thing -- , I think his course is a little expensive especially with the information he is giving.
Overall Rating: -- Good: The course has a fresh approach to making money online with Wordpress blogs. It reviews the make money online topic from a unique viewpoint without the hype.
