Don't fight the battle... Conquer your opposition using Pay Per Click advertising methods!

Testing Your Niche Against The Market...

If your a new comer to Pay Per Click advertising, then begin with a minimal budget as a bit of a test for your niche within the market.

Testing helps you to find out what your 'future customers' are looking for. Google is a great place to test a new campaign. When you place an ad with Google, you'll end up with an ad in the 'sponsored links' search results.

If you have not seen these small ads within Google, go do a search on Google for just about anything you can think of. Now, take a close look at the results, you'll see the the results are separated into two groups. Natural, organic results and the paid 'sponsored links' results.

Please do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a little ad within Google so you can learn the ropes, but be careful. Placing an advertisement sounds easy in theory, but you must be in control of daily spend limits. Set a budget and be prepared to invest in clicks/traffic to test your niche. You need to determine the keywords and phrases that your target customer base are typing in Google when it comes to your product or service.

This is not guess work. If you're on the ball, you would use software to give you an inside look into a niche. There are many tools online, some free, and some not. Google's keyword tool is pretty good for a freebie, then there is the bees knee's, like Google Cash Detective 2, competitive intelligence software.

Your choice of keywords is critical, especially if you have a small PPC budget. You should dig deep into your niche and aim to construct a list of highly searched keywords with relatively low advertiser competition.

Upon loading your keywords into your Adwords campaign, Google assigns each keyword a quality score. This score is determined by Google on how relevant they see your offer in relation to a particular keyword. Your aim is to get the highest possible quality score for your keywords. The higher your quality score, the more chance of Google rewarding you with cheaper clicks and optimum ad placement

To your success, Lynne Carey
